Unical Aero H3198-1UA latch assembly will be similar to Hartwell H3198-1 latch assembly in fit, form and function. Latch assembly is installed to secure the access door assembly P/N F5348614400000 in closed position.

 

Installs on Waste/Water Access Door

B757-200, 200PF, 200CB, 300 series

Unical Aero H854-5UA Hinge Assembly will be similar to Hartwell H854-5 Hinge Assembly in fit, form and function. Hinge Assembly is installed to hold the Waste Disposal and Potable Water Access Door Assembly P/N 141N8631-47 in place.

 

Installs on External Power and Gatelink Access Door

Unical Aero H854-9UA hinge assembly will be similar to Hartwell H854-9 hinge assembly in fit, form and function. Hinge assembly is installed to hold the external power and Gatelink door assembly P/N 141W2687-1 Door in place.

 

Installs on Engine Cowl

B737-600, 700, 800, 900ER series

The Strut Assembly is designed to withstand heavy load, vibration, a wide temperature range, and to resist corrosion. The Strut outer tube release collar automatically locks in the fully extended or intermediate position, allowing the fan cowl to stay opened. In the stowed (unlocked) position, the fan cowl is closed, the inner tube (under compressive load) mates with the fan cowl receiver pin. The Strut Assembly does not interface with any electrical or hydraulic systems on the aircraft.

 

Installs on Pressure Relief Door Assembly

B747-400 series
B767-200, 300, 300F, 400ER series

The Latch Assembly consists of 4 primary components for functionalities and assembly. The LH and RH Bracket holds all components together and serves as a rigidity base for installation. The latching mechanism is with the Latch Body, spring-loaded in the closed position by 2 compression springs. The Latch is used to gain access/secure a Pressure Relief Door for inspection and maintenance purposes.

 

Installs on Door Assembly

B767-200, 300, 300ER, 300F, 400ER series

The hook-shape hinge is machined aluminum. The hinge is riveted together with 2 sets of brackets. The primary steel bracket is for mounted on the aircraft struts’ bracket. The secondary sets of brackets are mounted on the door. The spring-back tension force is through a cres-spring installed between the hook-shape hinge and primary bracket.

 

Installs on Passenger Seats

B737 CLASSIC SERIES

The Unical Aero USB – PED Charging System installs on the passenger seats to provide USB Power. The System consists of USB charging ports (one per passenger) that will provide passengers the ability to charge permitted passenger electronic devices through the USB Ports. The USB Charging Ports are installed on passenger seats using aluminum brackets. Three (3) USB PED Charging Ports are installed one per passenger. The USB ports are installed on the forward seat bar of the seat assembly.

Unical Aero 9DX404700-01UA Tube Assembly- Flash will be similar to Goodrich 9DX404700-01 Tube Assembly in fit, form and function. Tube Assembly – Flash is installed in the next higher assembly Strobe Light Assembly made of die-cast aluminum housing. The Flash Tube Assembly is a modular design for easy removal and replacement.

Unical Aero H859-1UA Gooseneck Hinge Assembly will be similar to Hartwell H859-1 Gooseneck Hinge Assembly in fit, form and
function. Gooseneck Hinge Assembly is installed to hold Door Assembly – Water Service Access P/N 146N3641-2 in close position.

 

Installs on Main Landing Gear

B737-600, 700, 800, 900 SERIES

The Gland Nut is part of the MLG (Main Landing Gear) Shock Strut. The shock strut is the primary supporting member for the MLG, consists of an integral drag strut, and an outer and inner cylinder. The Gland Nut together with the Retainer Bolt, are designed to hold the lower Bearing Carrier in place, which the lower and upper Bearing Carriers holds the active and space seals. The Seals provide an air-oil seal between the inner and outer cylinders that keeps the mixture of nitrogen and hydraulic fluid in the sock strut.

 

Installs on Overhead Stowage Bin Door Assembly

B737-600, 700, 800, 900 SERIES

The LATCH ASSEMBLY serves as the pull handle and locking device for the door assembly of the overhead stowage bin. The locking mechanism is a single point, hook type latch with a torsion spring for return action for the handle. The hook engages to a keeper or strike type hardware on the inside of the bin. The handle actuates the locking mechanism and the torsion spring returns the handle back to the original position. The handle also has red colored flagging on each end that provides a visual indication that the latch is open.

 

Installs on Overhead Stowage Bin Door Assembly

B737-600, 700, 800, 900 SERIES
B757-200, 300 SERIES

The LOCKABLE LATCH ASSEMBLY serves as the pull handle and locking device for the door assembly of the overhead stowage bin. The BEZEL is an injection molded polycarbonate part that mounts to the housing of the latch on the door of the overhead stowage bin. The BEZEL acts as a cover for the latch and complements the aesthetics of the bin door.

Unical Aero H2561-9-145UA Latch Assembly is installed on various fuselage doors to hold the door in place. The Latch Assembly consists of 5 primary components for functionalities and assembly. The Button Bracket is a casting unit that serves as a rigidity base for installation and components mounting. The Connector joins the Button Bracket with the rest of the assemblies. The actuation of open-closed function is with the Button assist by the Bolt and Springs. The sets-Screw at the end of the Bolt is the primary transfer of force component to secure the Door.

 

Installs on 141W2687-1 door assembly

Unical Aero H2561-17-135UA Latch Assembly is installed on various fuselage doors to hold the door in place. The primary activation of the Latch is to open and close the door through a push button and trigger mechanism.

Unical Aero’s H3479-5UA push button latch assembly is used to secure a 737/777 access door in the closed position. The door is located at center wing-to-body fairing access panel. The latch is installed on the access door with four attaching screws. The assembly consists of a bracket on which are mounted a trigger that is riveted together, a bolt, and two springs. The space between the latch buttons and the door are sealed by gaskets. The gaskets are made from elastomeric material. The bolt offset distance to the door structure is adjusted by the bolt offset adjustment screw. The trigger offset distance to the door structure is not adjustable. The bolt is spring loaded to the open position and is held in the closed position by the trigger. The trigger is spring loaded to the closed position.

 

Installs on 149A2741-6 door assembly

B737-600, 700, 800 SERIES

Unical Aero’s HA915K4276UA push button latch assembly is used to secure a 737 access door in the closed position. The door is located at center wing-to-body fairing access panel. The latch is installed on the access door with four attaching screws. The assembly consists of a bracket on which are mounted a trigger that is riveted together, a bolt, and two springs. The space between the latch buttons and the door are sealed by gaskets. The gaskets are made from elastomeric material. The bolt offset distance to the door structure is adjusted by the bolt offset adjustment screw. The trigger offset distance to the door structure is not adjustable. The bolt is spring loaded to the open position and is held in the closed position by the trigger. The trigger is spring loaded to the closed position.
